Growing Environmental Literacy
Aquatic WILD utilizes the successful K-12 format of the Project WILD Guide with 55 lessons that emphasize aquatic wildlife and aquatic ecology. This professional development workshop will include first-hand experiences with a variety of lessons included in the guide to help you meet the new PA STEELS Standards through this interdisciplinary environmental education curriculum.
Open to classroom teachers and nonformal educators (including, but not limited to, preservice teachers, homeschool parents, naturalists, and scout leaders), all participants will receive the Aquatic WILD K-12 Curriculum and Activity Guide. Four and a half (4.5) Act 48 hours are available to educators holding Pennsylvania public school certifications.
Registration is required, as space is limited. This workshop does have a $15 fee to attend. Payment details will be included in your registration confirmation email.
