Inquiries and Application: MWEEs and the Watershed

• When: Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Where: Curwensville Community Center, 11 Stadium Drive, Curwensville, PA 16833.
• Audience: K-12 classroom teachers.
• Credits: Twelve Act 48 continuing education hours will be provided for Pa. Certified Teachers.
• Cost: Free.
• MWEE Designation: Pa. Certified MWEE Ambassador.

Join us for a dynamic two-day professional learning experience focused on the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) framework. This hands-on training will center on the issue of abandoned mine drainage, with participants engaging in field-based learning, including water testing in both a river and a mine-impacted stream.
