Shared Waters: Environmental Literacy and Sustainability for Grades 3-5

• When: Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Where: Delaware County Intermediate Unit, 200 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA 19070.
• Audience: K-12 classroom teachers, administrators and curriculum designers, preservice teachers, and nonformal educators.
• Credits: Seven Act 48 continuing education hours will be provided for Pa. Certified Teachers.
• Cost: Free.
• MWEE Designation: MWEE and EL&S Special Topics and Deeper Dives.

Join fellow teachers to learn about Shared Waters, an open educational resource specifically designed for STEELS standards, with one of the designers of the curriculum, Dr. Nanette Marcum-Dietrich!

The learning activities of the day will involve both indoor and outdoor investigations. Participants will leave with the confidence to plan and teach lessons aligned to the Environmental Literacy and Sustainability standards.
